This Monday (29), the Executive Board of Correios will present the main measures of the company’s Restructuring Plan. The president of Correios, Emmanoel Rondon, will speak about the actions at a press conference scheduled for 11 am.
The plan seeks to improve the financial situation, modernize services and make the company more competitive. Also this afternoon, at 2 pm, the Superior Labor Court (TST) will hold a new round of negotiations to try to end the Correios strike, which began on December 16th.
On December 18, the Superior Labor Court imposed measures to reduce the effects of the strike. An individual decision determined that unions ensure the minimum functioning of 80 percent of the workforce in each unit.
