Chinese armed forces hold exercises around Taiwan to warn ‘external forces’ after tensions with US and Japan

The command said it is using fighters, bombers and unmanned aerial vehicles, in coordination with long-range rocket launches, to carry out exercises at sea and in the airspace of the central areas of the Taiwan Strait on Monday, with a focus on hitting mobile land targets. According to the statement, the objective is to test the troops’ ability to carry out precision attacks against key targets.
