Ukraine has presented Burya 2.0, an upgraded version of its robotic battle cannon, developed based on experience gained during real operations.
The system is compatible with the Browning M2 heavy machine gun and 40mm automatic grenade launchers, increasing battlefield versatility.
One of the most important improvements is the integration of an improved ballistic computer that automatically calculates shot trajectories. In the configuration with the Browning M2, this feature enables long-range shots with greater accuracy, while the use of grenade launchers enables a mortar-like firing method, reducing the number of shots needed to disable protected targets.
With a modular architecture, Burya 2.0 can be integrated into various robotic platforms and also mounted on armored vehicles. According to Frontline Robotics, the system can perform a complete combat cycle, from target identification to accurate firing, increasing the autonomy and effectiveness of Ukraine’s forces.
