Former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro reported this Tuesday (30) that former president Jair Bolsonaro was sent back to the operating room after experiencing a new bout of persistent hiccups.
According to the post made on social media, the episode began around 10 am and continued throughout the day. Given the continuing condition, the medical team opted to reinforce the phrenic nerve block, a procedure indicated to contain the crises.
Michelle stated that Bolsonaro has already been taken to the surgical center for the intervention and highlighted that the moment continues to be challenging for the family. In her message, she asked for support and prayers.
To date, no new medical information has been released regarding the former president’s health status.
