Pakistan Navy has reached another milestone in the MİLGEM project by conducting a successful sniping with the corvette Civil servant Khaibarequipped with the Turkish-developed combat management system ADVENT from HAVELSAN.
During the exercise, the vessel demonstrated high precision in its weapon systems. During the coastal bombardment, the 76 mm main gun hit the target exactly in the center. Then the same performance was repeated by the stabilized remote-controlled weapon STOP of 25 mm, which confirmed the effectiveness of the sensor systems, fire control systems and the integrated platform on board.

The MİLGEM project for Pakistan is managed by the government contractor ASPHALTwhile HAVELSAN handles the integration of the combat systems. The first unit in the series, the corvette PNS Baburcompleted its firing trials in April 2024 and was officially commissioned by the Pakistan Navy the following month.

In addition to the ADVENT combat system, the Turkish national system is also integrated FLEETSTAR in the corvettes – a platform for data distribution and on-board management that strengthens their network-based command and control capabilities.
