The bill that improves weather warning systems in the country remains conclusive in the Chamber of Deputies.
The objective is to reinforce the national capacity to predict extreme weather events, such as the cyclone that occurred in Paraná and left seven deaths, 835 people who needed care after the disaster and 20 who remain hospitalized.
The text was approved last Tuesday (11) by the Urban Development Committee of the Chamber of Deputies. The purpose is to ensure the production of quality information to support alert systems and Civil Defense actions. After the Chamber, the matter will also be discussed in the Senate.
