King Charles’ Note to Sharon Osbourne After Ozzy’s Death

And it wasn’t just the King the family was surprised to hear from, as they were also touched by tributes from the likes of Oasis, Robbie Williams, Rod Stewart, Coldplay, Lady Gaga and even the King’s Guard who played a rendition of “Paranoia” that Sharon called “amazing.”

As she told kids Kelly Osbourne and Jack Osbourne on the podcast, “Your dad would have loved to see these different versions that people were doing with their tributes of his music.”

The siblings also took a moment to reflect on their own feelings following their father’s passing, with Kelly getting emotional as she recalled her time with Ozzy.

“I’m so grateful for every moment with him,” the 41-year-old shared through tears, “and I’m so grateful that he was my dad.”

Kelly—who is mom to son Sidney2, with fiancé Sid Wilson—added that she was even grateful for “the madness and all the chaos” and “everything that came along with it.”

Jack also took a moment to explain his experience with grief, saying that he’s found it to be both “horrible and beautiful.”

“It forces you to kind of unpack and examine things,” the 40-year-old said. ”Yeah, it sucks that he’s gone, but it also led to a huge amount of gratitude and love and really cherishing moments that at the time you take for granted.”
