Honduras goes to the polls in a single round election and in a triple tie

On Tuesday, at a meeting of the Organization of American States, Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau called for an electoral process “free of fraud and violence” to be demanded in Honduras. Washington warned that, should there be disruptions to the electoral process, it would respond “firmly.”
