Brazilian influencer is arrested in Argentina by Interpol Gabriel Spalone was extradited last Friday (21) from Argentina to Brazil. The digital influencer had been arrested by authorities on September 27 in Greater Buenos Aires. He arrived last Friday (21) in Greater São Paulo. Sapalone is a defendant in court, accused of qualified theft and criminal association for the illegal diversion of more than R$146 million from a bank, via PIX. The defenses of the other defendants were not located by the reporting team to comment on the matter. Guilherme and Jesse were temporarily arrested by the São Paulo Civil Police, but are currently free for crimes. Spalone had been arrested almost two months ago, upon landing at Ezeiza airport by Argentine police officers and an Interpol _international police agent. According to the investigation, Spalone and the other defendants used the credentials of a service provider to access the accounts of the financial institution that had the money embezzled. Then, according to the police, the gang used several bank accounts to receive payments via PIX. The fraud was noticed by one of the banks, which called the police. The influencer has more than 800 thousand followers on social media, where he published videos and photos of the luxurious life he led.
