Senate employees were supposed to receive a payment this Monday for the first part of October (between the 1st and 15th), however, as there was no agreement to end the shutdown by the end of the 16th, the salary was suspended. The remuneration of these employees will only be restored on the third business day after the end of the strike, according to a measure signed by the head of the legislative house’s payments office, Ted Ruckner.
