Trump administration authorizes secret CIA actions and ‘lethal operations’ in Venezuela, says newspaper

The United States and Venezuela are experiencing an escalation of tensions. In August, the US government announced the sending of military ships and aircraft to the Caribbean, in an area close to the Venezuelan coast, alleging an operation against international drug trafficking.
