This performance-inspired prototype combines aggressive styling, functionality, and the sporting spirit of the 2025 Camry XSE Hybrid AWD.
Toyota is hosting one of the world’s largest automotive events. SEMA Show 2025at Camry GT-S Conceptsurprised the audience by revealing. The concept is based on the 2025 Camry
Although an exploration of the concept, the GT-S maintains realistic goals. The goal is to create a sports sedan that can go straight from the showroom to the customer’s garage. Unlike typical SEMA flashy projects, this model retains the 2.5-liter, 232-horsepower hybrid engine and interior of the production Camry, and focuses on improving the exterior design, vehicle stance, and chassis.

“The Camry GT-S Concept is an ambitious study born on the race track,” said Kevin Hunter, head of design at Toyota North America. “As we envision the next evolution of the Camry XSE, we aimed for aggressive upgrades that strengthen its unique position as a sports sedan.”
This project was a collaboration between the CALTY Design Research team in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Toyota’s R&D department. The result is a bolder look that emphasizes the model’s dynamic profile with a redesigned rear panel, a bumper with integrated sports muffler and new aerodynamic elements at the front and sides. Lastly, the exclusive motorsport-inspired color “Inferno Flare” has been applied.
“We wanted to create something ambitious yet achievable,” explains CALTY lead designer Adam Rabinowitz. “GT-S is a platform to test ideas and get feedback directly from consumers about the future of Camry.”
In addition to looks, the Camry GT-S Concept features adjustable coilover suspension that lowers the ride height by 1.5 inches to improve handling and provide an aggressive stance. The brake system has been beefed up with 8-piston front and 6-piston rear calipers and 365mm and 356mm discs respectively. 20-inch sports wheels and 245/35R20 tires complete the performance package.

“Camry has always been a pillar of our lineup,” emphasized Mike Tripp, Toyota Group Vice President of Marketing. “With the GT-S Concept, we’re showing what’s possible when you combine the DNA of a sedan with a sporting attitude and personality. It’s a vehicle that customers can actually imagine driving.”
The Camry GT-S Concept will be displayed at the Toyota booth (Central Hall – 22200) at the Las Vegas Convention Center from November 4th to 7th, and under the theme of ‘Powered by Possibility’, all types of power sources, including internal combustion, hybrid, plug-in, electric, and fuel cell, will be displayed. We celebrate innovation.
