The driver lost control of the vehicle due to a sudden medical condition, and the SUV crashed into a wire fence and a wooden fence before crashing into the edge of a swimming pool and becoming airborne, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The vehicle then crashed into a home and “completely entered,” authorities said. There were two women, aged 40 and 42, in the house at the time.
Both women were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The driver and a 9-year-old boy in the vehicle were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The incident was also reported to the Red Cross, and the Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
