Ozzy Osbourne’s infidelities nearly cost him his marriage.
The late Black Sabbath rocker, who died in July at age 76, candidly reflected on his 2016 separation from wife Sharon Osbourne after he was caught “seeing a load of women on the side,” in his posthumous memoir Last Rites. And he shared insight into those difficult conversations with Sharon.
“At some point you get trapped and you can’t stop seeing ‘em, ‘cos you think they’ll go to the press or whatever,” he said in the book of his extramarital affairs. “Which is pretty much what happened.”
Ozzy wrote that Sharon, whom he wed in 1982, had “every right to dump” him after the bombshell revelation, adding that she chastised him for his carelessness about the matter.
“Sharon was like, ‘What the f–k did you expect, Ozzy?’” he recalled. “‘If you’re seeing enough women, one of ‘em’s gonna want more. And that’s the one who’s gonna bring the whole thing crashing down on everyone’s heads.’”
