Kevin Federline is sharing his side of the story.
In his new memoir You Thought You Knew—out Oct. 21—Kevin addresses ex-wife Britney Spears‘ alleged behavior around their kids Sean Federline20, and Jayden Federline19.
“They would awaken sometimes at night to find her standing silently in the doorway, watching them sleep— ‘Oh, you’re awake’ —with a knife in her hand,” Kevin writes in the memoir, for a The New York Times excerpt published Oct. 14. “Then she’d turn around and pad off without explanation.”
In response to the memoir, a rep for Britney tells E! News, “With news from Kevin’s book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin. All she cares about are her kids and their well-being during this sensationalism. She detailed her journey in her memoir.”
(Britney’s child support payments to Kevin ended in November 2024 when Jayden turned 18.)
Elsewhere in his memoir, Kevin expresses his concern for Britney’s ongoing welfare.
