Julia Roberts Shares Rare Insight Into Her and Danny Moder’s Life as Empty Nesters
Julia Roberts knows she’s not a pretty woman when crying over her kids.
That’s why she initially avoided discussing the fact that her twins Hazel and Pinnaeus20, and son Henry18—who she shares with her husband Danny Moder—have all moved out of the house when chatting with Stephen Colbert.
As she told the Late Show host during her Oct. 1 appearance on the talk show, “I don’t know if sobbing now is the best jumping off point to our interview.”
All jokes aside, Julia noted that she and Danny—who tied the knot in 2002 after meeting on the set of the 2000 film The Mexican—are enjoying this new phase of life.
“It’s all fun, honestly,” she continued. “It is all so delicious.”
But the August: Osage County actress admits she isn’t quite ready to be apart from her kids for too long.
“I love hanging out with them and spending time with them,” she shared. “Fortunately, we have had lots of visits along the way [to] this empty nest.”
