Release Epstein’s files.” The content displays a video, made entirely by artificial intelligence (AI), that supposedly shows a senior US National Guard officer speaking in front of his troops. He says: “Trump’s command says Portland looks like a ‘war zone.’ the list!” Portland, in the state of Oregon, is one of the cities administered by the Democratic Party that were the target of recent intervention, following the Trump administration’s order to send the National Guard. The US president claimed that these municipalities tolerate crime and shelter “illegal immigrants”. The lying post mentions Jeffrey Epstein, a billionaire and financier known for his connection with a vast network of sex and minor trafficking in the early 2000s. He committed suicide, in prison, in 2019. The scandal has been tarnishing the Trump administration for months, as he had a friendly relationship with the businessman in the 1990s and 2000s. The president was never investigated in relation to the case and claims to have distanced himself from Epstein when the abuse allegations came to light. During the 2024 election campaign, the Republican promised that he would make public the secret files on the investigation into the allegations, but the government has been delaying the release of the documents. Many Americans believe the documents include a list of powerful clients who abused minors. Trump, among other high-ranking figures, was supposedly among the names – but none of this has been officially confirmed. ⚠️ Why is it fake?
