Israeli couple kidnapped by Hamas reunite after 2 years apart: ‘Together again finally’

She and Avinatan were at the rave party that was invaded by the terrorist group. Video shows Israeli being kidnapped On the 12th, just five days after being kidnapped, Noa turned 26 years old in captivity and was honored by the Israeli government: “This beautiful woman is called Noa. She was taken hostage by Hamas during a music festival. Today is her 26th birthday. Her parents ask that we all wish her a happy birthday, in the hope that, perhaps, somehow, these messages will reach her.” In January 2024, her family received proof of Argamani’s life: Hamas released a video in which the young woman appeared asking the Israeli Army to stop the bombings in Gaza. The young woman’s mother, Chinese Liora Argamani, said she was suffering from a terminal illness and appealed to the terrorists to let her see her daughter before she died. Noa managed to return home on June 8 last year. She was one of four hostages rescued alive by the Israeli Armed Forces. Noa Argamani, kidnapped at the Nova festival on October 7, was rescued by the IDF. In February this year, she went to the UN and appealed for the rescue of her boyfriend and the remaining hostages. She said she didn’t think she would come out alive and recalled everything she went through after the house where she was kept was bombed: “I couldn’t move, I couldn’t breathe. I thought it would be the last seconds of my life. Being here with you today is a miracle.” Avinatan Or, who gained his freedom this Monday, is 32 years old and was born into a religious family in the colony of Shilo, in the occupied West Bank. He also has British nationality. Before the kidnapping, he and Noa had planned to settle in Beersheva, in southern Israel, where he had studied engineering.
