International press repercussions cases of methanol poisoning in Brazil

The British newspaper The Independent said there is a “panic in Brazil” because of cases of intoxication. According to the publication, many Brazilians have opted to consume only other drinks, such as beer, draft beer and wine, instead of drinks. The vehicle also pointed out that “almost all cases were reported in São Paulo, the most populous state in the country and epicenter of the outbreak.”
