From this Wednesday (15th) the extra PIS/Pasep batch will be paid by the government. Around 1.6 million workers will receive the amounts, which have the base year of 2023 as a reference.
According to the Ministry of Labor, the total paid will exceed R$1.5 billion to the beneficiaries. The amount can be withdrawn until December 29th. The extra batch was released to accommodate workers whose data was sent late.
Who is entitled?
- Have been registered with PIS/Pasep or CNIS for at least five years;
- Professionals who worked in the base year 2023 receiving up to two minimum wages;
- Your data was correctly entered by the employer in Rais or eSocial.
The extra batch only includes workers who met the general criteria, but had their information corrected and resent by June of this year. The query can be made in the Digital Work Card application or on the government website.
