Modular design and focus on mobility
The new system combines the firepower and range of the automated artillery module AGM (Artillery Gun Module) of the original RCH 155 with the protection and mobility of a vehicle-derived tracked platform Boxer.
According to KNDS, the AGM’s unmanned turret, equipped with a cannon Rheinmetall de 155 mm/L52offers 360° guidance at all elevation angles using up to six modular propellant charges — no external stabilizers required.
