A New York taxi driver is warning drivers in the city after spotting a Ford Escape white equipped with speed radar on the roof.
Frustrated Cabbie shared a video on TikTok to show off the vehicle, which at first glance looks like a normal car. But those who look carefully will notice the black equipment mounted on the roof.
“So, you see this vehicle here and that thing above. That’s the mobile radar. That’s the flash above. Usually these are municipal vehicles with a municipal employee inside. So be careful,” he warned.
The taxi driver added that the city will place these mobile radars at strategic points.
“They will place these vehicles strategically at specific intersections, especially near schools,” he continued, stressing that motorists must remain vigilant if they see Ford Escape or white vans.
