The Civil Police of the State of São Paulo launched, this Tuesday (14), “Operation Poison Source”, aiming to dismantle a criminal network involved in the production and sale of adulterated alcoholic beverages.
The operation intends to locate and seize products, machinery, inputs for the production of beverages, as well as cell phones. Documents and other objects that can help identify those involved and prove illegal activities.
In total, 20 search and seizure warrants were issued. Seven will be fulfilled at addresses in the capital and the rest in Santo André, Poá, São José dos Campos, Santos, Guarujá, Presidente Prudente and Araraquara. Around 150 civil police officers were committed to the mission.
