Federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) and journalist Paulo Figueiredo announced that they were in a meeting with the US government this Wednesday (15). The meeting with American authorities was at the State Department, one day before the meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira, and the head of American diplomacy, Marco Rubio.

On his X account, Eduardo Bolsonaro released a video in which, alongside his friend, the two commented on the celebrated “chemistry” between President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Lula) and Donald Trump. “For the people who said we were kicked out, that narrative falls apart,” said Figueiredo.
Eduardo Bolsonaro once again spoke about the particularity that Brazil deals with a ally Trump’s ideology, while other countries deal with the finance department. “Today it was reaffirmed that only Brazil will have Marco Rubio as a negotiator; it will be impossible to take politics off the table,” said Eduardo.
