While most concepts remain in museums or showrooms, Audi obtained a license to register the Concept Ca concept car with a futuristic design unveiled by the brand last month.
Unlike concepts developed by other manufacturers, which serve more to demonstrate the capabilities of the brand than to become real vehicles, the Audi Concept C is much closer to a real car than just a concept.
The Concept C has a rear-mounted electric motor, allowing it to reach around 145 km/h. It should be noted that the production version, planned for 2027, will be considerably faster.
Still, this top speed is impressive for what most people thought was just a static part exposed to the IAA Mobility Show from Munich (Germany) in September.

Since the launch is still a few years away, Audi didn’t share many technical details about the car, but Daniel Schusterspokesperson for technical development, told the site Engine1 that the Concept C is based on a recently developed architecture “which will be shared within the Group [Volkswagen] ».
Concerning the exterior, Massimo FrascellaAudi’s creative director, confirmed that the exterior design of the Concept C reflects “87%” of the final production look. For the first time for the brand, the electric retractable hardtop will be the only body model produced, a fixed roof coupe not being planned.

Inside, the cabin has a minimalist aesthetic, with a 10.4-inch retractable screen and digital instrument cluster. Beyond the technology, all controls are physical and designed for intuitive use.

The car was announced by Audi in September as “the start of a new design philosophy and, therefore, a watershed moment for the Four Rings”, suggesting that the concept serves as a guide for the appearance of future Audi models.
