With Trump cuts, Planned Parenthood will suspend abortion

An affiliate of Planned Parenthood announced the suspension of scheduling for abortion from next week as a result of Donald Trump’s government funding cut.

The largest abortion provider in the United States made the statement on Thursday (25), referring to Wisconsin base.

Following the statement of Planned Parenthood, State Attorney General, Democrat Josh Kaul, accused the Trump administration of acting “wrong” by cutting resources and threatening “essential health financing.”

With the approval of One Big Beautiful Bill in Congress in July, considered the federal government’s great fiscal plan for next year, abortionist organizations took a hard blow with the financing cut.

At the time, Planned Parenthood said it could end up to a third of its activities in the coming years, due to the financial cuts. Currently, the abortion provider already signals that it can close half of its clinics.

Wisconsin and other states filed an actions in the American courts to prevent the application of this ban by the Trump administration. This month, a Federal Court of Appeals has ruled that the Republican government could suspend transfers while judicial appeals are examined by judges.

In Thursday’s statement, Planned Parenthood said it was trying to accelerate abortion calls until next Tuesday (30). The organization said it was working with providers across the state to ensure that patients are rapidly referred and receive care in a “timely time”.
