Flexibility in motorization
The project included the original integration of the Russian VK-650 engine. However, the company decided to expand the helicopter’s compatibility to other models, including Rolls-Royce 250-C20, 250-C30 and 250-C47. According to Evsheli, this flexibility is intended to facilitate Sky-Trucks entry into the international market, so that it can be adapted to different customers and regions’ requirements.
From oil platforms to logistics assignments
Sky-Truck was originally developed to supply supplies to offshore oil recovery platforms. During the development, however, the engineers expanded the functionality, making it a versatile aircraft for various freight assignments, both on land and at sea.
With the test flights completed, Belarus positions itself to compete in a rapidly growing sector: medium -sized unmanned aircraft aimed at logistic transport.
