Flexibility in motorization
Initially, the project provided for the integration of the Russian VK-650 engine. However, the company decided to extend the compatibility of the helicopter to other models, including Rolls-Royce 250-C20, 250-C30 and 250-C47. According to Uavheli, this flexibility is intended to facilitate the introduction of the Sky truck on the international market, which makes adaptation to various customer and regional conditions possible.
From oil platforms to logistics missions
The Sky truck was originally designed to carry out deliveries to offshore oil extraction platforms. During the development, however, the engineers expanded the functionality, making it a versatile aircraft for a variety of freight transport missions, both on land and at sea.
With the completed test flights, Belarus positions itself to conquer a place in a fast-growing sector: that of medium-sized unmanned aircraft for logistics transport.
