Venezuela says that US attack on boat was “fake flag”

by Marcelo Moreira

The Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, considered the number 2 of the dictatorship of Nicolás Maduro, said that the US attack on a boat with drugs that had left the South American country was a “fake flag” operation. The term designates an attack carried out with the objective of assigning guilt to an enemy.

“The United States live after lies, than they call fake news or fake flags today, but once called a coba [termo que na Venezuela significa mentira]. They deceive people with their communication apparatus and social networks, capable of destroying anyone’s image. This is true for both a person and a country, ”Cabello said on his TV show on Wednesday night (3), according to the Effecto Cocuyo website.

“The Donald Trump government did not present any conclusive evidence after the attack on the vessel that allegedly carried drugs and, for a change, want to bind her to Venezuela,” said Minister Chavista.

On Tuesday (2), Trump said that on the morning of that day a drug boat was hit by American military in the Caribbean Sea. The president of the United States added that the vessel was from the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, which “operates under the control of Nicolás Maduro”, and that 11 people on board were killed.

“Please, this warning serves to anyone who is thinking of bringing drugs to the United States.

Shortly after Trump’s announcement, Venezuelan communication minister Freddy ñáñez said on Telegram that the images the White House released from the attack would be a video produced by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
