The property in downtown Rio that was occupied this Sunday (7) will be the house of the Rio-África Cultural Center. In space, the old Pro Matre maternity worked. The building had been bought by a construction company to give way to a residential, but was given to the city.
Members of the Fighting Movement of Neighborhoods, Vilas and Favelas (MLB) left the space during the operation of the Municipal Guard with the support of the Military Police and agents of the Secretariat of Public Order. One of the protesters was taken to the police station.
