Israel will not occupy or attach Gaza. As ISF establishes control and stability, Israel’s defense forces (IDF) will withdraw based on standards, landmarks and deadlines linked to demilitarization, agreed between IDF, ISF, Garantes and the United States, with the aim of ensuring a safe Gaza, which does not threaten Israel, Egypt or its citizens. In practice, IDF will progressively deliver the territories occupied in Gaza to ISF, according to the transitional authority, to full withdrawal, except for maintaining a security perimeter until Gaza is properly protected against a possible resumption of terrorist threats.
