The absolute highlight was the presence of historical ITZ technology, which is kept in perfect condition by factory experts.
During the reconstruction of the events of 1945, the spectators could see the legendary T-34-85 Tank and the powerful ISU-152 self-driving guns in action.
These machines, produced in Tankograd during the Great National War, are living witnesses of the victory and continue to inspire new generations.
In addition to the historic part, the spectators were also shown an impressive demonstration of the modern T-72B3M Tank, which touched all goals with precision and showed the power of the Russian armored troops.
The “Tankograd armor” festival was founded in 2020 by employees of Ichtz-Oaltrak (part of the Uralvagonzavod group) in collaboration with the military historical club Granit.
Since then it has become an annual tradition that strengthens the collective memory of the crucial role of the Ural in the defense of the homeland and the history of Russian tank building.
