The Civic-Military Parade of September 7, in Brasilia, will have as its theme Brazil sovereign and will be held next Sunday (7), from 9am, in the Esplanade of Ministries. The event will be attended by President Lula, Ministers of State and other authorities.
This year’s program will highlight national sovereignty in three thematic axes. Two of them were entitled Brazil of Brazilians and Brazil of the future. The third reference to the 30th UN Conference on Climate Change (COP30), which will be headquartered in Belém in November, as well as the new Growth Acceleration Program (PAC).
In addition to the news, the parade will maintain the traditional presentations of the Armed Forces. Among them are the motorized and cavalry parade, the human pyramid, the stunts of the Smoke Squadron and the military honors.
The public will be able to access the stands installed on the terrace from 6:30 am. For the entrance, there will be magazine points. Items such as weapons, sharp objects, glass bottles, fireworks, large backpacks, tents and drones without permission are prohibited.
Security measures were expanded due to the trial of former President Jair Bolsonaro and other accused for attempted coup d’état, which takes place in the Supreme Court (STF). Vehicle traffic in the region will be blocked on Saturday afternoon (6).
The policing on Sunday will have the performance of the Mobile Command of the Military Police of the Federal District.
The name Brazil Sovereign also identifies a federal government program that provides for support to companies affected by the new 50% tariff applied by the United States on Brazilian exports.
