Michelle Pfeiffer was a smooth rider into the newest phase of her life.
The Grease 2 actress, 67, revealed that she recently became a first-time grandmother, which has impacted how much of her schedule she is willing to devote toward her work.
“I don’t have time nor the desire to go that deep for that long and not be present,” Michelle said on the Sept. 29 episode of the SmartLess podcast. “I realize I have a finite amount of time left and—I might announce on this show—that I became a grandmother last year.”
While the three-time Oscar nominee—who shares kids Claudia32, and John31, with husband David E. Kelley—didn’t reveal which of her children welcomed a baby, she added, “I’ve been very quiet about it and it is heaven. It’s ridiculous.”
And although Michelle shared that she wasn’t expecting to become a grandparent last year, it’s a role she wants to fill more than any of her others.
