Zayn, 32, and Louis, 33, are lighting up lives with their reunion as it comes amid years of a back-and-forth feud. Following Zayn’s departure from One Direction in 2015, the duo took public jabs at each other via social media. And for years afterwards, that relationship remained fractured.
“You’d have to ask him.” Louis told said on the Zach Sang Show in 2022 on whether he and Zayn had a friendship. “I could be wrong, but I believe I said, when you asked me a similar question [last time] … I believe I said I don’t think I’m mature enough to get over what’s frustrated me in that relationship.”
“I don’t know if I’m mature enough now,” he added, “but I’m definitely closer to being over all that.”
