It’s Jon Bon Jovi‘s life as a grandfather—it’s now or never.
After his son Jake Bongiovi and his wife Millie Bobby Brown announced the arrival of their daughter in August, the “Livin’ on a Prayer” rocker is basking in his “cool” latest role.
“Crazy, but great, wonderful,” Jon—who shares Jake with wife Dorothea Hurley—told Bunnie XO in a Sept. 21 clip from an upcoming episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast. “They adopted a girl, and we met the baby obviously, and immediately it becomes your grandchild, your baby.”
As for the type of grandfather he is? Jon—who also shares kids Stephanie32, Jesse30, and Romeo21, with Dorothea— admitted he can’t get enough of his granddaughter.
“It’s beautiful,” he gushed. “I want to see pictures like every other day. I’m that pain in the butt guy already. It’s cool.”
Plus, there will be another pair of tiny feet joining the family soon. As Jon explained, “Our son Jesse and his wife, they’re gonna have a baby. Suddenly it’s a shift again.”
