Jack Osbourne is reflecting on one of the most difficult moments of his life.
Over a month after his father Ozzy Osbourne died at the age of 76 July 22, Jack reflected on the moment he learned of the Black Sabbath singer’s passing.
“I woke up in Los Angeles to a knock on my door at around 3:45 in the morning,” Jack explained in a Sept. 3 YouTube video. “Someone’s who has worked for my family for a good 30 years now was knocking on my door and when I looked through my window and saw it was him, I just knew. I knew something bad had happened.”
He was soon delivered the heartbreaking confirmation. As he explained, “I was informed that my father had passed.”
Upon hearing the news, the 39-year-old—one of Ozzy and wife Sharon Osbourne’s three children, along with Aimee Osbourne42, and Kelly Osbourne40—went through a whirlwind of emotions, especially considering his dad had died in his native England while Jack was over 5,000 miles away.
