Hamas says he “studies” Trump’s plan for Gaza

Hamas spoke on Tuesday (30) about US President Donald Trump’s plan for the Gaza Strip, saying that he is “studying” the proposal with other Enclave factions.

Speaking to the Agency Associated Press (AP)the terrorist group made it clear when it will present their answer. On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and European allies of Washington have already expressed support for the American Plan.

The proposal presented by Trump on Monday foresees, among other points, the disarmament and total surrender of Hamas in exchange for the end of the long war. Still, the terrorist group will not be able to be part of a transitional government.

Netanyahu scored after the announcement that the American plan coincides with the five principles his government has established to end the war. These principles, according to him, are the liberation of hostages, the disarmament of Hamas, the demilitarization of Gaza, Israeli control over the security of the enclave and a government to the track of which Hamas is not part.

The prime minister also stated that the Palestinian Authority, which rules parts of the West Bank, cannot play a role in the future of Gaza without first submitted to a “radical reform.”

The Israeli authority emphasized that if Hamas rejects the American proposal, the country will maintain its operations in Gaza until “ending the work”, referring to the extermination of Hamas.

Netanyahu says he has not signed a position on Palestinian state recognition with Trump

Netanyahu said on Tuesday, in a video published on his social networks, that he did not get it right during the meeting he had with Trump the establishment of a Palestinian state.

In the video, the prime minister insisted that Israel “will take responsibility for the security” of the Gaza range, “including a security perimeter”. He also again emphasized that neither Hamas nor Palestinian National Authority (ANP) will be part of the Civil Administration that will take over the government after the end of the war.

The American Peace Agreement to Gaza, presented by Trump at the White House with the Israeli Prime Minister, contemplates the creation of a transitional government without the presence of Hamas and protected by the Republican, the demilitarization of the track and also the possibility of negotiating in the future a Palestinian state.
