The Civil Police of Espírito Santo opened an investigation on Thursday (4) against two employees of a nursery after the release of a video on social networks that shows children being woken up with shouts and jets of a liquid on the face.
At the beginning of the recording, made in one of the institution’s rooms, one of the caregivers is caught knocking on the door and screaming, scaring at least 15 preschool children who wake up crying.
This same woman approached the beds with her cell phone, apparently filming or playing a song in high volume. At the same time, the other employee sprayed a liquid directly on the face of the smaller ones, who shrunk trying to protect themselves.
In addition to the repercussion of the video, the mother of one of the children registered a complaint on the Guardianship Council after noticing that her daughter had her eyes swollen and reddish when she fetched her from the day care.
The Civil Police intend to hear those responsible for the nursery, the caregivers involved and the parents of the children. The place owner was at the police station to register the police report and was available to collaborate with the findings.
