British Superbike Star, Callum Grigor (27), is in a comma that is medically induced after a serious accident on Saturday (September 6) in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship racing event at the Donington Park Circuit, England.
Wishaw racer, Scotland, fell on the first lap when entering the bend Goddards, and then collided with a motor racer from Manx, Nathan Harrison.

According to an official statement from British Superbike (BSB), the race was immediately stopped with a red flag, and the two riders immediately received medical treatment at the location.
“Callum Grigor is found in serious condition and requires immediate intervention on the track, including being placed in a comma that is medically induced. He is then taken to Queen’s Medical Center at Nottingham for special evaluation and care,” said the organizer.
Nathan Harrison suffered an isolated injury to one of his limbs and was also taken to the hospital.

The condition of the Scottish racer is classified as “serious”, and further renewal will be announced by the championship organizer in the coming days.
