District Judge Sparkle Sooknanan of Washington, DC, ordered the administration to refrain from deporting the children for 14 days and called a hearing for this Sunday. The National Immigration Law Center, a pro-immigration defense group, presented the contestation on behalf of children, who are between 10 and 17 years old.
