Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Step Out for First Time Since Announcing Their Engagement
It looks like the Nebraska Huskers may have done something bad.
The college football team deleted a post mocking Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s engagement after facing backlash.
In a since-deleted shared to X after the University of Nebraska squad defeated Travis’ alma mater, the University of Cincinnati, in an Aug. 28 face-off attended by the NFL star and his fiancée, the couple’s engagement photo was altered to the team’s mascot Herbie Husker, now depicting the Grammy winner embracing him in an almost-kiss with her hand on his face.
Alongside the altered image, the Nebraska Huskers wrote, “Change of plans.”
In response to message, many fans expressed their disappointment over the “gross” joke, leading the team to remove it entirely.
“Wow, Nebraska. Such an inconsiderate post,” one user wrote on X. “Congrats on the win but keep Taylor out of this you pieces of garbage!”
