A shooting at Times Square, a major tourist spot in New York, in the United States, left three people injured on Saturday (9). The riot happened around 1:20 am, around 2:20 am in Brasilia. According to the city’s police department, the author of the shots is a 17 -year -old teenager.
The victims are a 19 -year -old man, shot on his right foot, one of 65, shot in the left leg, and an 18 -laddown woman in the neck. All were referred to a hospital and are stable, according to authorities.
Also according to information from the New York police, the attack would have happened after a discussion between the teenager and one of the victims. The action was recorded by a security camera at Times Square. The shooter was arrested by the authorities, and the weapon was seized.
The US city has the elections for the position of mayor scheduled for next November, and crimes in places of great movement occupy one of the main agenda discussed. On the 29th, a shooter killed four people in a commercial building, including a police officer who was off.
