Russian forces are adapting their drones Lancet To use PTM-3 anti-tank mines as nova explosive load.

One video Disclosure on platform X shows the modification of weaponry, which replaces the KZ-6 standard with this soviet mine, designed to destroy both light and heavy armored vehicles.

With a total weight of 4.9 kg, compatible with the drone’s load capacity, the PTM-3 offers more explosive (1.8 kg) compared to KZ-6 (1.5 kg). However, despite the explosive volume gain, its drilling capacity is lower: about 80 mm shield against up to 200 mm from KZ-6, depending on the conditions.

The change reveals a new Russian drone weaponry strategy, prioritizing heavier and versatile loads. The Lancet system, manufactured by Aeroscan, had already been highlighted in previous presentations, indicating a continuous effort of modernization of the country’s tactical arsenal.
