The meeting brought together political leaders, experts and supporters, who participated in a series of panels inspired by Ted Talk format. During his speech, Zema stressed the advances of his management in Minas Gerais, focusing on neoliberal measures, and criticized the Workers Party (PT).
“It is with this Brazilian Brazil that we will arrive in Brasilia to sweep the PT of the map,” said the governor.
Zema also stated that he intends to bring to the federal government the same model of management implemented in Minas, if elected.
At 60, Romeu Zema has a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-SP). He was elected governor in 2018 in his first electoral dispute, and has been in office since 2019.
