Reese Witherspoon is shining the spotlight on being a working mom in Hollywood.
The Legally Blonde star got candid about the ups and downs that came with raising her kids Ava Philippe25, and Deacon Philippe21—whom she shares with ex Ryan Philippe—and 12-year-old son Tennessee Toth—who she shares with ex Jim Toth.
“Someone asked me what raising three kids and building a career in Hollywood looked like,” Reese, 49, wrote in an Aug. 14 Instagram carousel featuring throwback pics posing with her three kids at work on set, on the way to premieres and in everyday life. “It looked like spending a lot of time in trailers together. It looked like always being on the road together.”
As the Big Little Lies star noted, the glitz and glam also came with a lot of tears.
“It looked really hard sometimes I’d cry working 14 to 17 hours, sometimes all night long and still woke up early for carpool,” she wrote over a throwback selfie with Ava and Deacon. “I was deliriously tired.”
