The Paraíba Court of Justice denied the request for freedom of digital influencer Hytalo Santos and his husband, Israel Nata Vicente, known as Euro. The couple arrested preventively last Friday (15) in a residence in Carapicuíba, Greater São Paulo, is investigated for alleged exploration and exposure of minors in content published on social networks, as well as suspected human trafficking.
Hytalo and Euro’s defense filed a habeas corpus request, but the injunction was denied by the court. On Saturday morning (16), the two went through a custody hearing, but the court maintained preventive arrests, considering the gravity of the accusations and the risk of continuity of illegal practices.
The case gained great repercussion on social networks, where the influencer accumulated thousands of followers. The investigation is still ongoing, and the couple may be responsible for crimes related to the violation of the rights of children and adolescents, as well as possible crimes related to illegal migration and exploration for commercial purposes.
