On Friday, August 15th, Karma Automotive unveiled its latest luxury hybrid Gran Coupe, “Gyesera,” at Monterey Car Week 2025. Production of this model is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of this year, and prices start at $165,000. With sophisticated design and advanced technology, it is committed to raising the standard for this segment.

Gyesera is the successor to the Karma Revero, which was a pioneer of luxury plug-in hybrids over 10 years ago, and features a lightweight body made from a composite carbon and aluminum material and a revamped interior. When it was first unveiled in 2024, it was also used as a testbed for the company’s “Intelligent Product Development System (IPDS).” IPDS is a system that combines traditional automotive development with “digital twin” technology and cloud integration.

According to Marquez McCammon, president and CEO of Karma Automotive, Gyesera means a new phase for the company. “Faster, lighter and more advanced than its predecessor, Gyesera is the beginning of a new chapter that combines modern luxury, software and performance to provide a unique driving experience,” he said.

The Karma Amaris GT Coupé, which is scheduled to be sold for around $200,000 in 2026, is also scheduled to be added to the lineup.

Unique design

New elements include the Backslash visual signature, which emphasizes brand identity, and the Target Acquisition light system, which first appeared in the super coupe “Kaveya.”

High-tech interior

Equipped with a newly developed “Cockpit Information Controller (CIC)” based on the Qualcomm 8155, it is compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, the OTA (Over The Air) function has been expanded, allowing real-time diagnostics and software updates.

The center console is finished in piano black and features a backlit start button and wireless charger. The newly designed, lightweight front seats increase the rear seat foot space by 15%, further increasing luxury and comfort.
