Martha Stewart Shares Honest Thoughts on Meghan Markle & Gwyneth Paltrow Becoming Lifestyle Experts
Martha Stewart is serving up a plate of honesty.
The cookbook author shared her frank opinions on the burgeoning career of her fellow lifestyle expert Meghan Marklewho launched her As Ever brand earlier this year.
“Meghan, I don’t really know very well, and I hope she knows what she’s talking about,” Martha told Yahoo! Lifestyle in an interview published July 27. “Authenticity, to me, is everything, and to be authentic and knowledgeable about your subject matter is extremely important.”
Beyond her wishes for the With Love, Meghan star, the 83-year-old also commented on Gwyneth Paltrowwho created her Goop wellness company in 2008.
“Gwyneth’s been very successful, by the way,” Martha continued. “She created quite an interesting body of businesses. She’s admired. She won an Oscar, for heaven’s sake, as an actress!”
Martha added, “She’s pretty powerful.”
