No one told Jennifer Aniston life was gonna be this way.
But as the universe would have it, the Friends alum remained close friends with Gwyneth Paltrow even after their respective breakups with Brad Pittwho they both dated during the ’90s and who Aniston was married to during the early aughts.
“Ironically,” Aniston said of her bond with the Goop founder in a Vanity Fair interview published Aug. 11, “I went to her and Brad’s engagement party.”
So, do they ever talk about Pitt these days? “Oh, of course,” Aniston quipped. “How can we not? We’re girls.”
The 56-year-old added that she and Paltrow, 52, also often pick each other’s brains about wellness. As Aniston put it, “We’re always swapping advice—‘What are you doing for this? What are you doing for that? Do you have a new doctor for that?'”
Paltrow started dating Pitt, now 61, in 1994 after meeting on the set of Seven. They got engaged in 1995, but in 1997 when the Shakespeare in Love actress realized she wasn’t ready for marriage just yet.
